The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has officially announced the Class 12 exam results for 2024. The results were declared today during a press conference held at 11 am.

However, students eagerly waiting to download their scorecards can do so from 1 pm onward. They can access their results by visiting any of the official websites: mahresult.nic.in, hscresult.mkcl.org, or mahahsscboard.in.
Exam Details and Pass Percentage
The Class 12 exams, conducted by MSBSHSE, were held from February 21 to March 19, 2024. These exams were conducted in the traditional pen-and-paper format across various centers. This year, the overall pass percentage stands at an impressive 93.37%, reflecting the hard work and dedication of the students and educators.
How to Access Maharashtra Class 12 Results Online?
Students looking to check their Class 12 results can follow these steps:
- Visit the official MSBSHSE websites: mahresult.nic.in, hscresult.mkcl.org, or mahahsscboard.in.
- Find and click on the link titled 'Maharashtra HSC result 2024'.
- Enter your roll number and mother's name as required in the fields provided.
- Submit the information to display your result on the screen.
- It is important to note that the online results are provisional. Students are advised to collect their original mark sheets from their respective schools after a few days for official use.
Additional Access Through DigiLocker
In addition to the official websites, MSBSHSE has also made provisions for students to access their results through DigiLocker. A tweet from DigiLocker's official handle confirms that the Class XII 2024 results will be available on the DigiLocker Result Page from May 21, 2024, at 1:00 PM. This initiative provides another convenient method for students to obtain their results.
Previous Year Comparison and SMS Option
Last year, students had the option to check their results via SMS by sending a text in the format "MHHSC" to 57766. This method offered a convenient alternative for those unable to access the internet.
In 2023, the performance across different streams showed Science students leading with a 96.09% pass rate, followed by Commerce at 90.42%, and Arts at 84.05%. Although the overall pass percentage this year has increased to 93.37%, it reflects a recovery from last year's 91.25%, which had dropped from 2022's 94.22%. Notably, female students have showcased a higher pass rate at 93.25%.
