The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has opened the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) 2026 for BSc Nursing admissions for the 2026-27 academic session. Candidates who have qualified in the MH-NURSING CET 2026 are eligible to register for the counselling process through the designated admission portal.

The counselling process will cover BSc Nursing seats in government, government-aided, municipal corporation, private unaided and other nursing institutions recognised and notified by the Maharashtra government. Admission will be granted based on the candidate's MH-NURSING CET merit, provided they fulfil the prescribed eligibility conditions and successfully complete the document verification process.
Candidates who have qualified in MH-NURSING CET 2026 must complete a separate CAP registration to participate in the admission process. Appearing for or qualifying in the entrance examination does not automatically register a candidate for counselling.
Eligible candidates must submit the CAP application online within the prescribed deadline. They should carefully enter their personal, academic and examination details and upload the required documents in the specified format.

Only candidates who have qualified in MH-NURSING CET 2026 are eligible to register for the current CAP phase. Candidates must also satisfy the eligibility requirements prescribed for BSc Nursing admission.
Candidates should verify their educational qualifications, category-related requirements and other conditions before submitting the CAP application. Registration alone does not guarantee admission to a BSc Nursing seat.
Candidates are required to upload and submit the prescribed documents during the registration process. The documents will subsequently undergo online verification.
Applicants should ensure that all uploaded certificates and details are accurate and clearly readable. Any discrepancy or missing document may affect the candidate's eligibility for inclusion in the merit list.
Candidates should retain copies of the submitted application form, fee receipt and uploaded documents for future reference.
After registration and document verification, the State CET Cell will publish the registered candidate list and provisional merit list on September 6, 2026.
Candidates will be given an opportunity to raise grievances against the provisional merit list from September 7 to 8. After considering valid grievances, the final merit list is scheduled to be released on September 11.
The final merit list will be used for the subsequent CAP seat-allotment process.
The CAP Round 1 seat matrix will be published on September 11, followed by the choice-filling window from September 12 to 14.
Candidates should review available colleges and seats before submitting their preferences. They should arrange their choices carefully according to their preferred college, course and other applicable criteria.
The CAP Round 1 seat allotment result is scheduled for September 15. Candidates allotted seats will have to complete the required admission formalities and physically join the allotted institution between September 16 and 20.
