The MAHA TET exam is conducted in two papers:

For Paper I (Primary Teachers):
Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and must have completed or be in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or a 4-year B.El.Ed program.
For Paper II (Upper Primary Teachers):
Candidates should hold a Graduation degree with B.Ed., or must be in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
The detailed MAHA TET 2025 exam schedule has been released along with the notification. The exam will be conducted in offline mode at designated centers across Maharashtra. Candidates are advised to check their admit cards carefully for reporting time, venue, and exam guidelines.
Paper I (Class 1-5):
Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I (Marathi/English), Language II, Mathematics, Environmental Studies.
Paper II (Class 6-8):
Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics & Science (for Science teachers), or Social Studies (for Social Science teachers).
Each paper consists of 150 multiple-choice questions carrying 150 marks, with no negative marking.
