Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan: Madhya Pradesh Ranks No 1 In Drug Free India Campaign

Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan: In the banner of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) 2022, the state of Madhya Pradesh has been selected as the Best Performing State in the NMBA State Category Awards. Also Datia District in Madhya Pradesh has been selected the best performing district under the NMBA District Category Awards.

NMBA was launched in 2020 by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment in 272 most Vulnerable districts across India. It was initiated to address the problem of Drug Abuse among the youth of India. Since then various activities are being conducted in these selected places to fight and eradicate the evil of Drug Abuse.

Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan Award Ceremony

The award will be presented in the 'National Conference on Drug Trafficking and National Security' being organized in Punjab Raj Bhawan in Chandigarh on 30th July 2022 at 10 am. The award will be conferred by Hon'ble Union Home Minister Amit Shah, in the presence of Union Minister of Social Justice & Empowerment Dr. Virendra Kumar, Administrator Chandigarh, Lt Governor, J&K and Chief Ministers of Himachal Pradesh, Haryana & Punjab.

On this occasion Prem Singh Patel, the Minister of Social Justice and Disabled Welfare Department, Madhya Pradesh has congratulated the department officers for making Madhya Pradesh first in the country and Datia district for coming first in the country's drug free India campaign.
