Lok Sabha Recruitment For 40 Secretariat Assistant Posts, Apply Offline Before April 1

The Lok Sabha Secretariat, falling under the Parliament of India, has invited applications in a prescribed format from eligible and experienced Indian nationals, who are regular employees with the State/Central Govt., etc. for filling 40 vacancies to the post of Secretariat Assistant (35 in English stream and 05 in Hindi/bilingual stream) in Level 6 in the Pay Matrix on deputation. Applications through offline mode towards the same must be submitted before April 1, 2020.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for the post of Secretariat Assistant through Lok Sabha Recruitment must not have exceeded 56 years of age, with relaxation (upper age limit) for reserved categories as per the Govt. of India guidelines.

Candidates, from all categories, are exempted from paying the fee towards application processing as specified in the notification given at the end of the article.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for the post of Secretariat Assistant through Lok Sabha Recruitment must possess a Degree/Graduation from a recognised University/Institute, and should have a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute, and working knowledge of basic computer operation viz. MS Word, MS Excel and Power Point as specified in the advertisement.

Candidate's must be holding analogous post on regular basis in parent cadre or department.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Secretariat Assistant through Lok Sabha Recruitment will be done through Shorthand Test, Written Test/Typing Test (40 WMP) and Personal Interview.

Candidates selected as Secretariat Assistant through Lok Sabha Recruitment will be paid emolument in Level 6 of the Pay Matrix.
