Lok Sabha Secretariat, through a notification, has invited offline applications from eligible candidates for recruiting 21 Parliamentary Reporters through direct selection. Apply before January 28.

The Lok Sabha Secretariat, falling under the Parliament of India, has invited applications in a prescribed format from eligible Indian nationals for filling 21 vacancies to the post of Parliamentary Reporters to be posted at the Lok Sabha Secretariat in New Delhi through direct recruitment. Applications through offline mode towards the same must be submitted on or before January 28, 2020.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for the post of Parliamentary Reporters through Lok Sabha Recruitment must not have exceeded 40 years of age as on January 28, 2020 with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 3 years (OBC) and 5 years (SC/ST) respectively.

Candidates from all categories are exempted from paying the fee towards application processing as specified in the notification given at the end of the article.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for the post of Parliamentary Reporters through Lok Sabha Recruitment must possess a Bachelor's Degree (any discipline) from a recognised University/Institute, and should have a shorthand speed of 160 wpm in English/Hindi as specified in the advertisement.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Parliamentary Reporters through Lok Sabha Recruitment will be done through Shorthand Test, Written Test and Personal Interview.

Candidates selected as Parliamentary Reporters through Lok Sabha Recruitment will be paid emolument in the scale of Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 per month.
