The Lok Sabha Secretariat, under Parliament of India, has called for applications in a prescribed format from qualified and interested Indian nationals for filling Twelve (12) vacancies to the post of Parliamentary Interpreters under Pay Level 10 of the pay matrix through direct recruitment to be posted in the Lok Sabha Secretariat. Age Criteria And Fees

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Interpreters post through Lok Sabha Recruitment 2020 must possess the following qualifications from a recognised University/Institution:

Candidates must possess Master's Degree in English with medium* of Hindi language up to the Degree Level or, Master's Degree in Hindi with medium* of English up to the Degree Level for English/Hindi Interpreters.
Candidates must possess Master's degree in English or any other discipline (with English as a medium* of instruction) with regional language concerned up to Degree Level for Regional Language Interpreters.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Interpreters post through Lok Sabha Recruitment 2020 will be done through Oration Test, Written Test, Simultaneous Interpretation Test and Personal Interview.

Candidates selected as Interpreters post through Lok Sabha Recruitment 2020 will be paid emolument under Level 10 of the Pay Matrix in the scale of Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 per month.
