List of unauthorised schools in Bengaluru!
The Department of Public Instruction, Government of Karnataka, has released the list of unauthorised schools located across Bengaluru.
According to the reports, there is an increasing in the number of schools opening across the city. A total of 1,266 illegal schools is running without state government permission.
State government has decided to send notice to all these schools within a couple of days. Government has directed the education department that they have to get an explanation from the schools within 10 days.
- In Bengaluru South, around 798 unauthorised schools are running without permission, out of which 435 are pre-primary and 44 are CBSE and ICSE schools.
- In Bengaluru North, around 468 unauthorized schools are running without permission, out of which 243 are pre-primary and 93 CBSE and ICSE schools.

Commissioner of the Department of Public Instruction, Mohsin said, "Government will consider the explanation given by the schools to be authorised or close the schools".
