The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), a Govt. of India PSE, has invited online applications from eligible and interested candidates for filling 8,500 vacancies to the post of Assistants through direct recruitment to be posted across various zones in the Indian sub-continent comprising - North Zone, North Central Zone, East Central Zone, East Zone, Central Zone, South Central Zone, Southern Zone and Western Zone. The online application-cum-registration process towards the same starts from September 17, 2019 and closes on October 1, 2019

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for the post of Assistants through LIC Recruitment must have attained 18 years of age and not be more than 30 years as on September 1, 2019 with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 33 years (OBC), 35 years (SC/ST candidates) and 40 years (PWD) respectively as detailed in the notification.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 600 (Gen/OBC) and Rs. 100 (SC/ST/PWD) respectively as application processing fee, including GST+Transcation charge, through online (net-banking/credit/debit etc payment gateways) mode only.

Educational Criteria And Experience

Desirous candidates applying for the post of Assistants through LIC Recruitment must possess a Bachelor's Degree (any discpline) from a recognised University/Institute established by law in India as specified in the advertisement.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Assistants through LIC Recruitment will be done through an Online Test comprising of Preliminarily Examination, Main Examination and Personal Interview.

Candidates selected as Assistants through LIC Recruitment will be paid remuneration in the scale of Rs. 14,435 to Rs. 40,080 per month.
