The state-owned insurance group, Life Insurance Corporation (LIC), has released a recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO). The notification was released for a total of 590 vacancies. The AAO post contains generalists, IT, CA, Actuarial and Rajbhasa.
Candidates have to meet all the eligibility criteria set by the LIC. The selected candidates will earn the basic pay of INR 32,795/- per month. One can earn upto INR 62,315 excluding allowances as per rules. The selection of the candidates will be based on the online written examination followed by an interview. The selected candidates will be on probation for a period of one year and may be extended upto two years. Interested candidates can apply online until March 22, 2019.

Age Limit
The minimum age limit to apply online is 21 years. The maximum age limit is 30 years. However, age relaxation is provided to candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC and PWD categories.

Selection Process
The selection of Assistant Administrative Officers will be done through a three-tiered process and subsequent Pre recruitment Medical examination. The online written test will be conducted in two phases - preliminary and main. Candidates who qualify in the preliminary are only eligible for the main examination. The final merit will be based on marks obtained in the Main examination and interview.
