Kendriya Vidyalaya has 6205 vacancies for teachers
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) will be recruiting for the posts of Principals, Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) and Primary teachers. There will be direct recruitment for 6205 posts. Interested candidates can apply online.
The last date to apply is October 17, 2016.
Eligibility:
PGT:
- Candidate must have a post graduate degree with minimum of 50% marks
- Candidate must have B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized university
- Proficiency in Hindi and English
- Candidates applying for PGT (Computer Science) should possess B.E/ B.tech/ M.Sc./ MCA in computer science from a recognized university
- Upper age limit is 40 years
TGT:
- Candidate should have bachelor's degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks
- Candidate must have passed Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper - II, conducted by CBSE
- Candidate should be proficient in Hindi and English
- Candidate should possess professional qualification of B.Ed
- Upper age limit is 35 years
Primary Teachers:
- Candidate should have passed senior secondary or intermediate with at least 50% marks
- Candidate must have passed Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper - II, conducted by CBSE
- Candidate with B.Ed are NOT eligible for the post of primary teachers

- The registration will open on September 27, 2016
Selection Process:
- The candidates will be selected on the basis of written test and interview
- The weightage of written test and interview will be 85:15
- The written test will be conducted in 34 cities across India
