KVS Admissions 2022: Registration For Class 1 Begins, Check Eligibility Criteria And Other Details
KVS registration process began for class 1 admissions. Students who are at least six years old as of March 31, 2022, will be considered eligible to apply.
The registration process for Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVS) Class 1 has begun today, February 28, 2022. Parents can apply for their children online at kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in, which is the official website. The applications for admissions to class 1 will take place till March 21, 2022, up to 7 p.m.
According to official notice on the website, "You are strongly advised NOT to submit multiple applications to the same Vidyalaya for the same child. If multiple registration forms are submitted for the same child in the same Kendriya Vidyalaya, only the last application will be considered in the admission process. In a double shift Kendriya Vidyalaya, each shift will be treated as separate Vidyalaya for admission purpose."
KVS Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Students who are at least six years old as of March 31, 2022, will be considered eligible to apply. Candidates born on April 1st can also apply. On March 25, 2022, the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan will release its first admission list, with the second and third lists following on April 1 and 8, respectively, if seats remain vacant.
KVS Admission 2022: Documents Required
- A digital or scanned photo of the student applying for admission (JPEG file with a maximum size of 256KB)
- A scanned copy of the student's birth certificate (JPEG or PDF file of maximum size 256KB
- Government certificate details if applying under the economically weaker section
- Transfer details of parent/grandparent whose service credentials will be required in the application
KVS Admission 2022: How To Apply
Step 1: Go to kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in, which is KVS's official website.
Step 2: Enter your login credentials and Register.
Step 3: After completing the registration process, you will receive a unique login code.
Step 4: Submit the form after completing the details.
Step 5: You will be given a unique Application Submission Code apart from the Login Code, after successfully submitting the form.
Step 6: Submit the form, save it, and keep a printout for future use.
The KVS official notice also stated that only registering and submitting an application form does not guarantee a child's admission. "Admissions will be offered by individual Vidyalayas, depending on available seats and as per KVS guidelines (see here) after examining application details, and after originals of all required documents have been produced at the time of admission," it reads.
