KVPY Aptitude Test 2021 Date Announced, Check KVPY Fellowship Exam Date And Other Details Here

Kishor Vigyanik Protsahan Yojna (KVPY) has announced the KVPY Aptitude Test 2021 date for the award of national fellowship in basic sciences initiated and funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. KVPY Fellowship Exam will be held on January 9, 2022 for awarding the KVPY fellowship in basic sciences. Candidates who have applied for the KVPY exam can check the KVPY fellowship exam date and other details on the official website kvpy.iisc.ac.in

"This is for the information to all those candidates who have registered and paid the fees for the KVPY Aptitude test-2021. The KVPY Aptitude test will now be held on 9th January 2022," as official statement on the KVPY website said.

KVPY exam in a national level aptitude test conducted for granting of fellowships and contingency grants to students studying in 1st year program in basic science course such as B.Sc./B.S./B. Stat./B. Math./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S. for taking up research career in Basic Sciences.

Selection of the students is made from among those studying in XI standard to 1st year of any undergraduate Program in Basic Sciences namely B.Sc., B.S., B.Stat., B.Math., Int. M.Sc./M.S. in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology having an aptitude for scientific research.

Applications are screened by special groups/committees set up at IISc which conducts the KVPY Aptitude Test across test centers in the country.

Based on the candidates' performance in the KVPY Aptitude Test, shortlisted students are called for an interview which is the final stage of the selection procedure
Aptitude test and interview marks are taken into consideration for granting of fellowships and contingency grants to students for pursuing a research career in Basic Sciences.
