The Delhi region's Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has made an official announcement that the offline classes in Kendriya Vidyalayas for grades 9 to 12 will begin from September 6.
"All principals are advised to be prepared for the reopening of schools for classes 9-12 with 50% capacity from September 6," according to the KVS official announcement.
All principals have been asked by KVS to have an online Parent Teacher Meeting (PTM) on September 1 and 2 to discuss the school reopening matter. Once a decision has been reached, the schools must take steps to inform all teachers and students of the decision by September 3. By September 4, the schools must collect a Parental Consent Form.

Meanwhile, Manish Sisodia, the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, said on Friday (August 27) that all schools, colleges, and coaching institutes in the national capital will reopen on September 1.
The Delhi government has also issued a list of important guidelines to ensure the safety and well-being of teachers and students. The Delhi government has ordered all schools to establish a quarantine centre in case of an emergency.
