The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has opted to extend the registration deadline for the April session of the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) 2024. Initially slated for April 26, the deadline has now been pushed to May 2, 2024.

Applicants who have not yet submitted their applications can do so on the official website, ktet.kerala.gov.in. The registration process commenced on April 17, 2024. The window for application form corrections will open on May 4 and conclude on May 7, 2024.
The application fee for all categories is ₹500. For SC/ST and differently-abled categories, the application fee is ₹250. Only online applications are accepted, and applicants are not required to bring the application and certified copies to the exam venue.
The KTET 2024 examination comprises four papers:
Category 1: Lower primary teachers
Category 2: Upper primary teachers
Category 3: High school teachers
Category 4: Language teachers (Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu), specialty teachers, and physical education instructors.
The KTET 2024 exam will be conducted offline for 150 minutes and carries a total of 150 marks. Each correct answer earns one mark, with no negative marking for incorrect answers. Additionally, each paper consists of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) based on the respective category.
