The Karnataka State Police (KSP), under Govt. of Karnataka, has invited online applications from eligible and interested candidates for filling 3,026 vacancies to the post of Police Constables (Men and Women) in CAR/DAR and Civil categories through direct recruitment to be posted across the State of Karnataka. The application process towards the same stared on September 23, 2019 and closes on October 17, 2019 with October 19, 2019 as the last date for paying the application fee.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Police Constables post through KSP 2019 must have attained 18 years of age (PC - Armed) and 19 years of age (PC - Civil) respectively, and not be more than 25 years (GM/UR), 27 years (SC/ST and OBC) and 30 years (Tribal candidates) respectively.

Candidates must pay a requisite amount of Rs. 250 (GM and OBC-2A/2B/3A/3B) and Rs. 100 (SC/ST/CAT-01) respectively as application processing fee through Challan mode at the listed HDFC branches/Post office only on or before October 19, 2019 as specified in the advertisement.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Police Constables post through KSP 2019 must have passed SSLC/Class 10 or equivalent (PC - Armed posts) and PUC/Intermediate/ Class 12 or equivalent (PC - Civil post) from a recognised Board/University/Institute duly approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Police Constables post through KSP 2019 will be done through an Endurance Test-cum-Physical Standard Test (PST), Written Examination and Viva Voce (Personal Interview).

Candidates selected for Police Constables post through KSP 2019 will be paid emolument as per the KSP norms.
