The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has announced the timetable for the Karnataka Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) 2024 Exam 3. Scheduled to be held from August 2 to August 9, the exams will be conducted in a pen-and-paper format. Registration has already begun, and candidates must complete their registration through the school login on the official website by July 17.

Passing Criteria
To pass the Karnataka SSLC 2024 exam, students need to achieve at least 35% marks in both theory and practical components. The results for the previous SSLC exam, conducted from June 14 to June 21, were announced on July 10. The registration form can be found on the KSEAB website at kseab.karnataka.gov.in.
Karnataka SSLC Exam 3 Schedule
The timetable for the Karnataka SSLC Exam 3 is as follows:
- August 2 First Language: Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Urdu, English, English (NCERT), Sanskrit
- August 3 Third Language: Hindi, Kannada, English, Persian, Arabic, Tulu, Urdu, Sanskrit, Konkani, NSQF subjects
- August 5 Science, Political Science, Hindustani music, Karnataka music
- August 6 Social Science
- August 7 Second Language: English, Kannada
- August 8 Mathematics/Sociology
- August 9 Elements of Electrical Engineering IV, Elements of Mechanical Engineering-2 & IV,
- Engineering Graphics-2, Elements of Electronics Engineering-IV,
- Programming in ANSI 'C', Elements of Computer Science, Economics
Exam Timings and Instructions
- First Languages and Core Subjects: 10:15 AM to 1:30 PM
- Second and Third Language Exams: 10:15 AM to 1:15 PM
- NSQF Subjects: 10:15 AM to 12:30 PM
Practical and oral examinations for JTS subjects (56, 57, etc.) are scheduled for August 10 at respective schools. Hindustani Music and Carnatic Music exams will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM, with theory exams running from 2:00 PM to 3:45 PM followed by practicals till evening.
Exam Fee Details
The registration fee details are as follows:
- Rs. 407 per subject
- Rs. 507 for two subjects
- Rs. 682 for three or more subjects
Provisions for Differently Abled Students
Differently abled students will receive extra time or a scribe's assistance as per the Differently Abled Children's Rights Act-2016. Extra time is allocated based on the paper duration:
- 60 minutes extra for a three-hour paper
- 50 minutes extra for a two-hour thirty-minute paper
- 40 minutes extra for a two-hour paper
- 30 minutes extra for a one-hour thirty-minute paper
The KSEAB has ensured that all necessary provisions are made to accommodate differently abled students during these examinations. This includes additional time or assistance as required under relevant regulations.
