KPTCL Recruitment 2019: 3,646 Vacancies For AEE, AEs, JEs, Powerman And Assistant Posts

The Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL), a electricity transmission and distribution company under Govt of Karnataka, has invited online applications from eligible and qualified candidates for filling 3,646 vacancies to the posts of Assistant Executive Engineers (Electrical), Assistant Engineers (Electrical/Civil), Junior Engineers (Electrical/Civil), Junior Personal Assistants, Junior Assistants, Driver Grade II, Junior Station Attendants and Junior Powerman (Junior Lineman) through direct recruitment to be posted at KPTCL and other ESCOMS in Karnataka comprising of BECSOM (Bangalore/Bengaluru), HESCOM (Hubli), CESCOM (Mysore), MESCOM (Mangalore) and GESCOM (Gulbarga).

The online registration cum application process towards the same will start from February 23, 2019 and 30 March 2019.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for the post of AEE, AEs, JEs, Powerman and Assistant posts through KPTCL Recruitment 2019 must have attained 18 years of age, and not have exceeded 35 years, with relaxation to reserved categories as per the Govt. of Karnataka guidelines.

Educational Criteria

Desirous candidates applying for the post of AEE, AEs, JEs, Powerman and Assistant posts through KPTCL Recruitment 2019 must possess qualifications as under:

AEE, AE, JE (Electrical/Civil) - Candidates applying for these posts must possess a BE/B.Tech in Civil and Electrical disciplines from a recognised Institute/University.

Junior Personal Assistants, Junior Assistants - Candidates applying for these posts must be a graduate from a recognised University/Institute.

Driver Grade II, Junior Station Attendants and Junior Lineman - Candidates applying for these posts must have passed Class 12/HSC or equivalent from a recognised University/Board.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as AEE, AEs, JEs, Powerman and Assistant posts through KPTCL Recruitment 2019 will be done based on a Written Test and Skill Test as applicable.
Candidates selected as AEE, AEs, JEs, Powerman and Assistant will be paid an emolument in the following scale:

Assistant Executive Engineer (Elec): Rs. 46,080/ to Rs. 98,030 per month
Assistant Engineer (Elec.) and Assistant Engineer (Civil) Rs. 41,130 to 72,920
Junior Engineer (Elec.) and Junior Engineer (Civil) Rs 26,270 to Rs. 65,020 per month
Junior Personal Assistant Rs. 22,920/ to Rs. 56,320 per month
Junior Assistant and Driver Grade II - Rs. 20,220 to Rs. 51,640 per month
Junior Station Attendant and Junior Powerman (Junior Lineman) - Rs. 16,370 to Rs. 35,180 per month
