KPSC Recruitment 2020 Notification For 523 Group C Non-Technical Posts, Apply From August 20 Onwards

The Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC), under Govt. of Karnataka, has released an official KPSC recruitment 2020 notification, inviting online applications from eligible Graduates and Non-Graduates for filling 523 Group C Non-Technical posts in various capacities comprising Account Assistant, Account Assistant, Warden, DEO, Labour Inspector, Accountant, Statistical Inspector, etc. through direct selection on a fulltime basis to be posted in various departments across the state of Karnataka in India.

The online application-cum-registration process for KPSC Group C recruitment starts from August 20, 2020 onwards, and closes on September 19, 2020 with September 21, 2020 as the last date for paying the examination-cum-application fee.

KPSC Recruitment: Age Criteria

Candidates interested in applying for Group C Non-Technical posts through KPSC Recruitment must have completed 18 years of age as on September 19, 2020 and not be more than 45 years, with a relaxation in the upper age limit up to 3 years for OBC (2A/2B/3A/3B) and 5 years for (SC/ST and Cat I) respectively as specified in the notification.

KPSC Recruitment: Exam/Application Fee

Candidates must pay a specified amount of Rs. 600 + 35 (Gen/UR), Rs. 300 + 35 OBC (2A/2B/3A & 3B) and Rs. 50 + 35 (Ex-Servicemen) as examination-cum-application processing fee through online mode or any other mode as mentioned in the KPSC recruitment 2020 notification on or before September 21, 2020.

SC/ST/Cat-I candidates, however, are required to pay the processing fee of Rs. 35 only, and are granted exempted from paying the examination fee as mentioned in the KPSC recruitment 2020 notification.

KPSC Recruitment: Educational Eligibility

Candidates applying for Group C Non-Technical posts through KPSC Recruitment must have passed Matriculation/SSLC or equivalent; passed PUC/10+2; possess Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduation in the concerned discipline; Degree in Law, Commerce, Economics/Statistics; B.Com, BBM, BBA, B.Ed; Diploma in Library Science from a recognised University/Institute established by Law.

Candidates must (compulsorily) know Kannada language - read, write and speak as per the KPSC recruitment 2020 notification.

KPSC Recruitment: Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates to Group C Non-Technical posts through KPSC Recruitment will be done in the following stages:

• Compulsory Kannada Language Exam and
• Competitive Examination - General Knowledge (Paper 1) and Communication (Paper 2)

The KPSC Recruitment will be held either through Offline-OMR method or through Computer based recruitment test-CBRT according to the KPSC recruitment 2020 notification.

Candidates shortlisted for Group C Non-Technical posts through KPSC Recruitment will be paid emolument in the range of Rs. 21,400 to Rs. 70,850 per month as per the designation.
