KPSC Recruitment 2020 For 106 Gazetted Probationary (Group A And B) Posts From February 6 Onwards

The Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) has invited online applications from eligible and interested candidates for filling 106 vacancies to the post of Gazetted Probationary Officers (Group A and B) comprising Deputy Superintendent of Police - Interior Department, Assistant Commissioner of Commercial Taxes - Commercial Tax Department (Economic Department), Assistant Labour Commissioner- Labour Department all under Group A, and Tahsildar Grade II - Revenue Department, Assistant Director - Department of Tourism, Assistant Director - Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Deputy Superintendent of Excise (Excise Department), Assistant Superintendents- Department of Prisons and CTO all falling under Group B cadre to be appointed in various departments of the state government through direct selection.

The application process towards the same starts from February 6, 2020 onwards and closes on March 6, 2020.

Age Criteria And Application Fee

Candidates interested in applying for the post of Assistants and FDA through KPSC Recruitment 2020 must have attained 21 years of age March 6, 2020 and not be more than 35 years (Gen/UR), with a relaxation in the upper age limit up to 38 years for OBC (2A/2B/3A/3B) and 40 years for (SC/ST and Cat I) respectively as specified in the notifications.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 600 + 35 (Gen/UR), Rs. 300 + 35 OBC (2A/2B/3A & 3B) and Rs. 50 + 35 (Ex-Servicemen) as examination-cum-application processing fee through online mode or any other mode as mentioned in the notification. SC/ST/Cat-I candidates are required to pay application processing charge of Rs. 35 only as mentioned in the notification.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Candidates applying for the post of Gazetted Probationary through KPSC Recruitment 2020 must possess a Bachelor's Degree/Graduation or equivalent from a recognised University/Institute established by Law.

Candidates must (compulsorily) know Kannada language - read, write and speak.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Gazetted Probationary through KPSC Recruitment 2020 will be done through a Competitive Examination (Preliminary and Main Exam) and Interview.

Candidates shortlisted as Gazetted Probationary through KPSC Recruitment 2020 will be paid emolument as per the KPSC norms.
