KPCL Recruitment 2019 For Medical Officers And Accounts Officers; Application Starts From March 20

The Karnataka Power Corporation (KPCL) under Govt. of Karnataka has invited online applications from eligible and qualified candidates for filling 15 vacancies to the post of Factory Medical Officers (05), Medical Officers (08) and Accounts Officers (02) to be posted at the KPCL units in Hyderabad-Karnataka (HK) region and Non Hyderabad-Karnataka (NHK) through direct recruitment. The online application process towards the same starts from March 20, 2019 and closes on April 22, 2019 by 5:00 pm, with April 26, 2019 as the last date for payment of application fee.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for the post of Medical Officers and Accounts Officers through KPCL Recruitment 2019 must have attained 18 years of age and must not have exceeded 35 years (Gen), 38 years (OBC categories) and 40 years (SC/ST/CAT-I) respectively.

Candidates must pay a specified amount of Rs. 525 (GEN/OBC) and Rs. 275 (SC/ST/CAT-I) as application processing fee-cum-postal charges through Challan mode at any Post Office branch. However, PWD and Ex-Serviceman candidates are required to pay only Rs. 50 as application fee-cum-postal charges.

Educational Criteria And Experience

Desirous candidates applying for the post of Medical Officers and Accounts Officers through KPCL Recruitment 2019 must possess the following qualifications:

Factory Medical Officers: MBBS Degree from a recognized College/Institute in Karnataka, with minimum three-months Training in Industrial Health. Candidates must have at least two-years experience in a private/recognised Medical Hospital/Institution apart from internship.

Medical Officers: MBBS Degree from a recognized College/Institute in Karnataka, with at least two-years experience in a private/recognised Medical Hospital/Institution apart from internship.
Accounts Officers: Graduation (First Class) and must possess membership of ICWA.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Medical Officers and Account Officers through KPCL Recruitment 2019 will be done based on the total marks (percentage) obtained in MBBS/ICWA by the candidates and a compulsory Kannada Language Test.

Candidates selected as Medical Officers and Account Officers will be paid an emolument in the scale of Rs. 20,895 to Rs. 49,895 per month.
