KPCL Recruitment 2019 For 18 Welfare and Safety Officers Post; Application Starts From March 20

The Karnataka Power Corporation (KPCL), a leader power manufacturing company under Govt. of Karnataka has invited online applications from eligible and interested candidates for filling 18 vacancies to the post of Welfare and Safety Officers to be posted at the KPCL's projects stations in Non Hyderabad-Karnataka (NHK) and Hyderabad-Karnataka (HK) regions through direct recruitment. The online application process towards the same starts from March 20, 2019 and closes on April 22, 2019 by 5:00 pm.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for the post of Welfare and Safety Officers through KPCL Recruitment 2019 must have attained 18 years of age and not be more than 35 years (Gen), 38 years (OBC categories) and 40 years (SC/ST/CAT-I) respectively.

Candidates must pay a specified amount of Rs. 525 (GEN/OBC) and Rs. 275 (SC/ST/CAT-I) as application processing fee-cum-postal charges through Challan mode at any Post Office branch. However, Children of the deceased Defence personnel, PWD and Ex-Serviceman candidates must pay only Rs. 50 as application fee-cum-postal charges.

Educational Criteria And Experience

Desirous candidates applying for the post of Welfare and Safety Officers through KPCL Recruitment 2019 must possess the following qualifications:

Welfare Officer: Bachelor's Degree from a University/Institute recognized by Govt. of Karnataka, with a Master's Degree in Social Work [MSW]- from a University/Institute recognized by Govt. of Karnataka. The candidate must have minimum two-years experience as Welfare Officer in a reputed industry/firm.

Safety Officer: Degree/Diploma in any branch of Engineering/Technology with minimum 2 to 5 years of practical exposure in a Factory in supervisory capacity.

The candidate must possess Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Industrial Safety from a institute recognized by Govt. of Karnataka.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Welfare and Safety Officers through KPCL Recruitment 2019 will be done based on a Written Test (Objective Type) of 100 marks and Kannada Language Test.

Candidates selected as Welfare and Safety Officers will be paid an emolument in the following scale:

Welfare Officer: Rs. 19,055 to Rs. 43,995 per month.
Safety Officer: Rs. 20,895 to Rs. 49,895 per month.
