Konkan Railway: Apply Online For 135 Trainee Apprentices Post In Multiple Engineering Disciplines

The Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) has invited online applications from Graduate engineers and Diploma holders for filling 135 vacancies to the post of Trainee Apprentices in various engineering disciplines comprising Civil, Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunications and Mechanical through direct selection. The application process towards the same started on September 27, 2019 and closes on November 30, 2019.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Trainee Apprentices post through Konkan Railway must have attained 21 years of age as on July 31, 2019 and not be more than 25 years, with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 5 years (SC/ST) and 3 years (OBC-NCL) respectively as applicable.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 100 (Gen/OBC) as application processing fee through online (net-banking/credit/debit) mode only. However, SC/ST/ and Ex-SM candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Trainee Apprentices post through Konkan Railway must possess a BE/B.Tech/Diploma in relevant engineering discipline from a recognised University/Institution.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Trainee Apprentices post through Konkan Railway will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained at the time of acquiring of B.E/ Diploma in relevant discipline.

Candidates shortlisted as Trainee Apprentices through Konkan Railway will be paid a monthly stipend in the following scale:

• Graduate Engineers: Rs. 4,984
• Diploma Holders: Rs. 3,542
