Kendriya Vidyalaya Class 1 registration begins today; Check out for more details

The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) will commence the registration process for online applications for admission to Class 1 today, April 1. The online registration for Class 1 admission in Kendriya Vidyalayas for the academic year 2023-24 will begin at 10 am. The Class 1 admission application form for 2024 will be available on kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in.

How to apply for KVS Admission 2024?

Step 1: Visit the official website - kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in
Step 2: Click on the registration link on the homepage
Step 3: Register using the required credentials
Step 4: Fill out the KVS admission application form
Step 5: Upload all the necessary documents
Step 6: Click on submit
Step 7: Download the KVS admission form for future reference

For admission to Class 1 at KVS, the minimum age requirement is six years, calculated as of March 31, 2024. Children born on April 1 should also be considered. Parents are cautioned against submitting multiple applications to the same Vidyalaya for a single child. If multiple registration forms are submitted for the same child in one Kendriya Vidyalaya, only the latest application will be considered for the admission process. According to a statement on the KVS website, in Kendriya Vidyalayas with double shifts, each shift will be considered as a separate Vidyalaya for admission purposes.
