KEA UGNEET 2026 Document Verification Scheduled from August 4 to 8; Slot Booking Begins August 2
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the official schedule for the UGNEET 2026 document verification process for candidates seeking admission to MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH courses in Karnataka. As per the notification, document verification will be conducted from August 4 to August 8, 2026, at designated verification centres across the state.
KEA UGNEET 2026 Document Verification Scheduled
The verification process is mandatory for specific categories of candidates, including those who have newly registered or have not yet completed document verification. KEA has advised all eligible applicants to complete the process within the prescribed timeline to remain eligible for the upcoming counselling and seat allotment rounds.
According to an official post shared by KEA on X (formerly Twitter), candidates must book a document verification slot from August 2, 2026, through the link that will be activated on the official KEA website. The authority has clearly stated that only candidates with a confirmed slot booking will be allowed to attend document verification at the allotted centres.
Who Needs to Undergo KEA UGNEET 2026 Document Verification?
The following categories of candidates are required to appear for document verification:
- Candidates claiming NRI Ward, NRI, or Foreign National categories.
- Candidates who registered for CET-2026 but could not download the verification slip due to pending verification of Kannada, Rural, Linguistic, or Religious Minority claims.
- Newly registered candidates claiming Kannada, Rural, Linguistic, or Religious Minority reservations.
- Candidates seeking admission under St. John's Medical College Category RC-2 to RC-8.
These candidates must carry all the required original documents and supporting certificates during verification.
Who Does Not Need Document Verification?
KEA has clarified that the following candidates are not required to undergo document verification:
- Candidates who have already downloaded the verification slip after entering their NEET UG 2026 roll number. They only need to download the updated verification slip again from the portal.
- Newly registered candidates who have not claimed any reservation or special category.
Such candidates can directly proceed with the subsequent counselling process as per the schedule announced by KEA.
