KCET Result 2022 Expected to be Released On October 01, 2022

KCET Result 2022: Karnataka Examination Authority has announced to release the KCET result 2022 on October 01, 2022. The revised result for the examination shall be released on the official website, kea.kar.nic.in. This announcement was made after the Karnataka HC ordered the authorities to do the same.

KEA has earlier released the KCET result on July 30, 2022. The result was released for more than 2 lakhs candidates. Now, updates suggest that the revised result will be released on October 01, 2022.

Karnataka HC Order for KCET

Earlier last year, the students filed a petition against the KEA for considering the marks of second-year pre-university for drafting the KCET rank list. After this, the High court ordered the committee to consider 50% marks of PUC and 50% marks of the entrance exam while drafting the merit list.

Now, a separate committee headed by DR B Thimme Gowda ordered that the authorities should declare the final result. The authorities have ordered that an average of 6 marks in Physics, 5 marks in Chemistry, and 7 marks in Mathematics should be deducted from each subject.As per that results in a total deduction of 6 marks for 100 qualifying marks.

The KEA had also submitted the proposal in a sealed envelope to a division bench headed by Acting Chief Justice Alok Aradhe on Thursday. The High Court also directed the authorities to go ahead with the CET ranking based on this formula.
