The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is set to release the KCET 2025 Round 1 seat allotment results today, August 2, at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

Candidates can log in using their CET number and date of birth to check their allotment status. The allotment is based on KCET rank, course preferences, and reservation policies. Those allotted a seat must confirm their choice and pay the admission fee between August 4 and 7. Candidates can opt for freeze, float, surrender, or exit options during this round.
The KCET 2025 Round 1 Final Seat Allotment Results will be released today, August 2, by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). Students who appeared for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) and participated in the counselling process can visit cetonline.karnataka.gov.in to check their seat allotment status.

4. View and download your allotment result and admission order.

After viewing the final allotment, candidates must choose one of the following:
Choice 1 (Freeze): Accept the allotted seat and exit further rounds.
Choice 2 (Float): Accept the seat and remain eligible for upgrades.
Choice 3 (Surrender): Decline the seat and participate in next round.
Choice 4 (Exit): Withdraw from the entire counselling process.
Students choosing to accept must download the admission order, pay the required fee, and report to the allotted institution with relevant documents during the reporting window.
Candidates can also check college-wise cut-off ranks and seat matrix for Round 1 to better understand the seat allotment dynamics. Top colleges may have closing ranks under 500 for competitive branches like CSE and ECE.
After completion of Round 1, unfilled or surrendered seats will be carried forward to the next round of allotment. KEA will soon release a schedule for Round 2, giving another opportunity to unallotted or dissatisfied candidates.
