The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has postponed the State Common Entrance Test (CET) 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and postponement of the 2nd PUC exams. Minister of Higher Education and Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, Dr Ashwathnarayan CN, has announced that the KCET 2021 exam scheduled in the first week of July stands deferred. The exam authority, KEA, has revised the KCET exam 2021 schedule. The written exams will be held on August 28 and 29, 2021. The Kannada Language Test will be conducted on July 9, 2021. KCET 2021 Postponed Due To COVID

Dr Ashwathnarayan CN tweeted, In the state of COVID-19 Considering the increasing number of cases, CET2021 The test has been postponed. The revised test schedule is as follows: Revised schedule for #KCET2021."

The official notice reads, "Due to postponement of 2021 annual 2nd PUC examinations and by considering the rising of COVID-19 cases in the state, Common Entrance Test 2021 scheduled to be held on July 7 and 8 and Kannada Language Test on July 9 has been postponed."

It also reads, "Now, CET-2021 will be conducted on August 28 and 29 and Kannada Language Test on August 30, 2021; further applications will be invited through online shortly."
