Karnataka TET 2020 Exam Centre Change
The Office of Commissioner, Public Education Department Bengaluru has started the centre correction window for Karnataka Teacher's Eligibility Test (KARTET) 2020. Candidates who wish to change their exam centre for KARTET 2020 can do the same on the official website schooleducaton.kar.nic.in. One can change the exam centre until October 2, 2020.
The sources suggest that the exam will be held on October 4 at 604 centres across the state. A total of 74,977 candidates have registered for the exam and 1,69,716 candidates will be appearing for Paper 2.
The Karnataka TET 2020 will be held on October 4 the same day as UPSC IAS Prelims 2020 scheduled. However, the exam authority has decided to go ahead of the written exam. The KARTET is conducted for various posts of elementary teachers in the Karnataka state.
Paper-I is conducted to teach at primary level (Class 1-5). However, Paper-II is conducted to qualify candidates to teach at the elementary level (Class 6-8).
