The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the UGNEET 2026 registration deadline for candidates seeking admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and other medical courses in Karnataka. According to the latest notification, eligible candidates can now submit fresh applications through the KEA portal until July 30, 2026.

The extension has been granted for candidates who have appeared for NEET UG 2026, are eligible for medical admissions, but could not complete the registration process within the earlier deadline of July 24, 2026. The decision was taken after several requests were received from students and parents.
KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna, IAS, announced that the registration window has been reopened to ensure that no eligible candidate misses the opportunity to participate in the Karnataka UGNEET 2026 counselling process.
Candidates who have not yet registered can now access the UGNEET 2026 New Registration link available on the official KEA website and complete the application process before the revised deadline.
The authority has clarified that NEET UG 2026 result data has not yet been received by KEA. Therefore, newly registering candidates are not required to submit their NEET roll number at the time of application.
