Karnataka UGNEET 2026 Registration Deadline Extended to July 30; Apply Now

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the UGNEET 2026 registration deadline for candidates seeking admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and other medical courses in Karnataka. According to the latest notification, eligible candidates can now submit fresh applications through the KEA portal until July 30, 2026.

Karnataka UGNEET 2026 Registration Deadline Extend

The extension has been granted for candidates who have appeared for NEET UG 2026, are eligible for medical admissions, but could not complete the registration process within the earlier deadline of July 24, 2026. The decision was taken after several requests were received from students and parents.

KEA Extends UGNEET Registration Deadline

KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna, IAS, announced that the registration window has been reopened to ensure that no eligible candidate misses the opportunity to participate in the Karnataka UGNEET 2026 counselling process.

Candidates who have not yet registered can now access the UGNEET 2026 New Registration link available on the official KEA website and complete the application process before the revised deadline.

NEET Roll Number Not Required Immediately

The authority has clarified that NEET UG 2026 result data has not yet been received by KEA. Therefore, newly registering candidates are not required to submit their NEET roll number at the time of application.

Once the information becomes available, KEA will update the portal accordingly and notify candidates regarding the next steps.

Fresh Registration for Medical Admissions

The extended registration facility is available for candidates seeking admission to:

  • MBBS
  • BDS
  • AYUSH courses
  • Other medical programmes offered through KEA counselling

Applicants must complete:

  • Online registration
  • Application form submission
  • Payment of the prescribed application fee

Only candidates who complete all these steps within the stipulated deadline will be eligible to participate in the counselling process.

Existing CET Candidates Need Not Apply Again

KEA has also clarified that candidates who have already registered for Karnataka CET 2026 are not required to submit a fresh UGNEET application.

Instead, KEA will activate a separate online facility through which existing CET applicants can simply add their NEET Roll Number to their already submitted application.

Candidates are advised not to submit duplicate applications, as this may create complications during counselling.

Important Instructions for Candidates

Applicants should:

  • Complete the online registration before July 30, 2026.
  • Ensure all personal and academic details are entered correctly.
  • Keep required documents ready for future verification.
  • Regularly visit the official KEA website for counselling updates and notifications.

Conclusion

The extension of the Karnataka UGNEET 2026 registration deadline offers another opportunity for NEET-qualified candidates who were unable to register earlier. Eligible students should complete the application process before July 30, 2026, to secure their eligibility for Karnataka medical, dental, and AYUSH admissions. Candidates who have already applied through CET need only update their NEET details once KEA activates the dedicated portal.
