Karnataka SSLC Fee Hike: Fees for Private and Repeat Candidates

The fee increase is not limited to regular first-time candidates. Newly registered private candidates will now have to pay ₹260 as the registration and application fee, up from ₹248. Candidates who have already registered as private candidates and are renewing their registration will pay ₹76, compared with ₹72 earlier.

For repeat candidates, the examination fee is now ₹470 for one subject, ₹587 for two subjects and ₹790 for three or more subjects. The revised structure therefore covers candidates appearing under different categories.

Why Has Karnataka SSLC Exam Fee Been Increased?

KSEAB has attributed the 5% fee revision to the expenditure involved in conducting the SSLC examinations. The increase follows a similar fee revision reported for the Karnataka II PU examination process.
