The University of Mysore, Karnataka has postponed the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) 2021 exam again after a surge in the COVID-19 cases across the state. The exam authority has postponed the KSET exam 2021 scheduled to be held on April 25. The University has also released a notice regarding KSET 2021 postponement. Candidates who have registered for the exam are advised to keep visiting the official website to know the revised date. Earlier, the exam authority has postponed the KSET exam scheduled on April 10 due to the bus strike across the state.

The KSET exam is conducted to shortlist the Assistant Professor by the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) Center, the University of Mysore is the Nodal Agency recognized by the UGC. The shortlisted candidates will be placed across the state to the posts of Assistant Professors and Lecturers in government colleges of Karnataka.
KSET exam consists of two compulsory papers of only objective type multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The exam will be held in two sessions - the first session (9:30 am to 10:30 pm) and the second session (11 am to 1 pm). Candidates who stand out in the written exam will be called for document verification. One should obtain the minimum marks and score above the cut-off to get qualified.
