Karnataka Horticulture Recruitment For 200 Gardener Posts; Apply Before 07 March 2019

The Karnataka State Horticulture Department (KSHD) under Govt. of Karnataka has invited online applications from eligible candidates for filling 200 vacancies to the post of Gardeners through direct recruitment in the Hyderabad-Karnataka Region and Non-Hyderabad-Karnataka Region. The application process towards the same will start from 04 February 2019 and will close on 07 March 2019, with 06 March 2019 as the last date for the payment of application fees.

Age Criteria And Fees

Desirous candidates applying for the post of Gardeners through Karnataka Horticulture Recruitment must have attained 18 years of age and not exceeded 35 years (Gen), with a relaxation in the upper age limit up to 38 years for OBC (2A/2B/3A/3B) categories and 40 years for SC/ST/Cat - I candidates.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 300/- (Gen), Rs 150/- OBC (2A/2B/3A/3B) and Rs. 50/- (Ex-servicemen), respectively towards the processing of application at e-Payment offices only as detailed in the notification.

Educational Criteria

Desirous candidates applying for the post of Gardeners through Karnataka Horticulture Recruitment should have passed SSLC/Class 10 or equivalent from a recognised Board and must have completed a 10 month-Gardener Training course with the Horticulture Department.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Gardeners through Karnataka Horticulture Recruitment will be done based on the marks (50 percent each) secured by the candidate in the SSLC/Class 10 as well as in the Gardener Training course with the Horticulture Department.

Candidates selected as Gardeners will be paid an emolument in the scale of Rs. 17,000/- to Rs. 28,950/- per month.
