The High Court of Karnataka has invited online applications from qualified and experienced candidates for filling 21 vacancies to the post of District Judges through direct recruitment to be posted across various district courts in the State. The online application process towards the same started on October 21, 2019 and closes on November 6, 2019.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for District Judges post through Karnataka High Court Recruitment must not have exceeded 45 years of age as on November 6, 2019 with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 48 years for SC/ST candidates.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 500 (GEN/OBC) and Rs. 250 (SC/ST/CAT-I) respectively as application processing fee either through SBI online (net-banking/debit/credit payment gateways) mode or SBI Challan mode.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Candidates applying for District Judges post through Karnataka High Court Recruitment must possess a Law Degree from a recognised University/Institution, and should be a practicing Advocate (High Court or Subordinate courts) for not less than seven years as specified in the notification.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as District Judges through Karnataka High Court Recruitment will be done through a Competitive Written Examination (Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Viva-voce).

Candidates selected as District Judges through Karnataka High Court Recruitment will be paid emolument in the scale of Rs. 51,550 to Rs. 63,070 per month.
