Karnataka Forest Department Recruitment For 339 Forest Guards, Apply Online Before May 15

The Karnataka Forest Department (KFD), under Govt. of Karnataka, has invited online applications from eligible and interested candidates for filling 339 vacancies to the post of Forest Guards (327+12 backlog posts) through direct recruitment to be posted across various KFD Circles in the state. The application process towards the same started on March 16, 2020 and closes on May 15, 2020 by 5:30 pm with May 18, 2020 as the last date for paying the application fee.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Forest Guards post in Karnataka Forest Department must have attained 18 years of age and not be more than 27 years as on February 28, 2020 with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 3 years (OBC- 2A/2B/3A/3B) and 5 years (SC/ST/CAT-I) respectively.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 120 (Gen/OBC-2A/2B/3A/3B) and Rs. 45 ( SC/ST/CAT-I/Ex-SM) respectively as application processing fee through online (net-banking/credit/debit etc.) mode or any other mode as applicable.

Eligibility Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Forest Guards post in Karnataka Forest Department must has passed Class 12/PUC/Intermediate or equivalent from a recognised Board/University/Institution, and must possess knowledge of Kannada language - read, write and speak.

Candidates' must also meet the physical and medical standards as specified by the KFD department.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Forest Guards post in Karnataka Forest Department will be done on the basis of Physical Standards, Medical Fitness and Written Exam.

Candidates selected for Forest Guards post in Karnataka Forest Department will be paid emolument in the scale of Rs. 21,400 to Rs. 42,000 per month.
