The Karnataka Forest Department (KFD), under Govt. of Karnataka, has invited applications in a prescribed format from qualified and experienced candidates for filling Eight (08) vacancies to the post of Forest Settlement Officers through direct recruitment to be posted in the regions comprising Sagar (Shivamoga Dist), Kadur (Chikmagalur), Mysuru, Mandya, Kolar, Hassan, Raichur and Dharwad. The offline application process towards the same started on November 20, 2019 and closes on December 10, 2019 by 4:30 pm.

Age Criteria And Fees

Desirous candidates applying for Forest Settlement Officers post in Karnataka Forest Department must have retired in the capacity of Assistant Commissioner (Revenue) and possess expertise in the following areas:

• Forestry, map-making and border demarcation
• Must serve as a civil court in resolving land disputes
• Must possess expertise in Theodolite and GPS surveys
