Eligibility Criteria for National Institute of Technology Karnataka Teaching and Non Teaching Jobs:

Educational Qualification:

Teaching Posts:

  • Assistant Professor- Ph.D. with consistently good academic record.
  • Associate Professor- Ph.D. with consistently good academic record.
  • Professor- Ph.D. with consistently good academic record.

Non Teaching Posts:

  • Technical Assistant / Junior Engineer / SAS Assistant / Senior Pharmacist (Group B)- B First class Bachelor's (Honours) Degree in Sciences in relevant subject or equivalent grade from a recognized University / Institute (Technical Assistant).
  • Technician, Laboratory Assistant, Work Assistant (Group C) - B.Sc. Degree in relevant field from a recognized University / Institute (Laboratory Assistant).

Selection Procedure for National Institute of Technology Karnataka Teaching and Non Teaching Jobs:

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the interview/exam conducted by the organization.

The National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) formerly known as Karnataka Regional Engineering College (KREC), is a public engineering university at Surathkal, about 17 kilometres north of Mangalore city. It was founded in 1960 as KREC while today, it is one of the 31 National Institutes of Technology in India and is recognised as an Institute of National Importance.
