JNU Recruitment 2019: Apply Online For 267 Professors And Associate Professors Post Before August 19

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), a Central University, has invited online applications from eligible and experienced Indian nationals and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) for filling 267 vacancies to the post of Professor and Associate Professor in multiple school/centres through direct recruitment. The application process towards the same starts from July 20, 2019 and closes on August 19, 2019 by 5:30 pm.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Professors and Associate Professors post through JNU Recruitment 2019 must meet the age criteria as per the JNU and Govt. of India norms, with relaxations (upper age limit) to reserved categories as applicable.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 1,000 (Gen/OBC/EWS) as application processing fee through online (net-banking/debit card/credit card/BHIM etc.) mode only. SC/ST/PWD and Women candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

Educational Criteria, Eligibility And Experience

Desirous candidates applying for Professors and Associate Professors post through JNU Recruitment 2019 must possess a P.hD; Master's Degree (minimum 55% marks) in the relevant subject/discipline applied for from a recognized University/Institution.

Candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC/CSIR with eight to ten years of experience in teaching in the relevant discipline/subject as detailed in the advertisements given at the end of the article.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Professors and Associate Professors post through JNU Recruitment 2019 will be done through Shortlisting, Interview and Document Verification.

Candidates shortlisted as Professors and Associate Professors will be paid emolument in the following scale:

Professors: Rs. 1,44,200 to 2,18,200 per month
Associate Professors: Rs. 1,31,400 to Rs. 2,17,100 per month
