The registration process for postgraduate courses at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) commenced on May 1. Interested candidates can apply for their desired courses through the official website at jnuee.jnu.ac.in. The deadline for submitting applications is May 27, 2024. Selection will be based on the candidates' performance in the Common Universities Entrance Test (CUET).

JNU offers Master of Arts (MA), Master of Science (MSc), and Master of Computer Application (MCA) programs in various specializations.
How to Apply for JNU PG Admissions 2024?
Step 1: Visit the official website of Jawaharlal Nehru University at jnuee.jnu.ac.in.
Step 2: Locate the Registration link on the homepage and click on it.
Step 3: You will be directed to a new page. Register yourself by providing all the required information such as Contact Number, E-mail ID, and others accurately, then click on submit.
Step 4: Complete the application process by paying the required application fees. Once payment is made, click on submit.
Step 5: Registration is complete. Download the application form and print it on an A4-sized sheet of paper.
Eligibility & Selection for JNU Admission 2024
In addition to CUET-UG, JNU accepts JEE Main scores for admission to BTech courses. MBA admission at JNU is based on CAT scores conducted by IIMs. CUET-PG scores are also accepted for admission to MA, MSc, MCA, MPH, MTech, Post Graduate Diploma, and Advanced Diploma courses. Admission to the MSc in Biotechnology and MSc in Computational Biology programs at JNU will be based on GAT-B scores.
Meanwhile, JNU has decided to utilize the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) for PhD admissions instead of the entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) from the academic year 2024-25.
JNU 2024 Examination Pattern
- Mode of Examination: The exam will be administered in an online (Computer-based) format.
- Duration: Candidates will have a total of 2 hours to complete the examination.
- Number of Questions: Each paper will comprise 100 questions.
- Marking Scheme: Candidates will be awarded 4 marks for each correct answer.
- Negative Marking: There will be a deduction of 1 mark for every incorrect response.
