JNU invites applications from international students for UG admissions

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is currently welcoming applications from international students seeking admission to undergraduate programs for the academic year 2024-25. A distinct application form is available for foreign nationals, accessible for download on the university's official website, jnu.ac.in. The deadline for submitting the application form is April 26, 2024.

Furthermore, JNU offers a diverse range of academic programs, including approximately 10 undergraduate and 34 postgraduate courses. Across various schools and disciplines, the university provides a total of 342 undergraduate and 1,025 postgraduate seats.
For the academic session 2024-25, JNU facilitates admissions to undergraduate and Certificate of Proficiency (COP) programs, such as BA (Honours) in Foreign Languages, BSc Program in Ayurveda Biology, and Certificate of Proficiency programs.

In the National Institutional Ranking Framework Survey 2023, Jawaharlal Nehru University maintained its position as the second-best university for the second consecutive year. It secured the 10th spot in the overall category of institutions, achieving a score of 68.92. Renowned globally as a center for research and education, JNU has consistently garnered acclaim. Notably, it was ranked third among all Indian institutions by the National Institutional Ranking Framework, Government of India, in 2016, and achieved the second position in 2017.

Furthermore, the university attained the top rank in the country according to the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), boasting a Grade point average of 3.91 on a 4-point scale. Recognizing its excellence, the President of India honored JNU with the prestigious 2017 Best University Award.
