JNU Begins Online Applications for 2024-25

Application Process

To apply, eligible candidates should log in to the official portal using their NTA application number and date of birth. Admission will be determined based on CUET (UG) 2024 scores and any additional deprivation points that candidates may earn.

Admission Requirements

JNU offers various programmes, including BA Hons in Foreign Languages, BSc in Ayurveda Biology, and COP programmes. Applicants must use their CUET (UG) 2024 results to apply. Importantly, no viva voce examination is required for these admissions.

Selection is based on merit, considering scores from the Computer-Based Test (CBT) and additional deprivation points according to JNU's admission policies. In cases where marks are tied, preference will be given to candidates with higher CBT scores.

Tie-Breaking Criteria

If further tie-breaking is necessary, the marks obtained in the qualifying 10+2 examination will be considered. Should a tie continue, higher marks from Class 10 will be used. Candidates with finalized results will be preferred over those with pending results.

Transparent Admission Process

JNU is committed to a transparent admission process, strictly adhering to merit-based selection criteria. This ensures equal opportunities for all eligible candidates and maintains fairness throughout the selection process.

Candidates are advised to regularly check the JNU website for the latest information and updates. Staying informed about any changes or additional requirements is crucial for a smooth application experience.
Streamlined Registration

The registration process is user-friendly, requiring only basic details such as the NTA application number and date of birth. This streamlined approach simplifies access for all eligible applicants, facilitating a hassle-free application process.
