JNU Admission 2022 Registration Begins for UG Courses, Check Steps to Apply Online Here!

JNU Admission 2022: Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) commenced the online registration for admission to undergraduate courses on September 28. Candidates can apply for JNU Admission 2022 only on the official website i.e jnuee.jnu.ac.in. All those who are willing to apply for JNU UG admission need to enter their CUET credentials in the login portal and complete the application process on or before the last date.

As per the e-prospectus declared on the official website, it states that the entrance exam for B.A. (Hons.) is a common test for all languages. Candidates willing to secure admission to B.A. (Hons.) in JNU should have attempted CUET (UG) 2022. They should opt for Section IA-English Test (Code 101) and Section III - General Test (501) for admission to JNU. Candidates who have not attempted both the sections, i.e. Section IA (English Test) and Section III (General Test), will not be considered for admission to JNU.

JNU Admission 2022 Important Dates

The JNU admission schedule for UG & COP program for the academic year 2022-23 is shared below:

• Online Submission of JNU Application Form: 28th September to 12th October 2022
• Publication of Merit Lists for Admissions: 17th October 2022 (Tentative)
• Pre-enrolment registration and payment of fee with blocking of seats (Tentative): 17th October to 29th October 2022
• Physical Verification of Admission/Registration of selected candidate: 1 st to 4th November 2022
• Release of Final List after registration: 9th November 2022 (Tentative)
• Pre-enrolment registration and payment of fee with blocking of seats of Final list (Tentative) - 9th November to 10th November 2022
• Physical verification of Admission/Registration of the final list of selected candidates: 14th November 2022.
• Commencement of Classes: 7th November 2022
• Deadline for Admission/Registration: 30th November 2022

How to apply online for JNU Admission 2022

Follow the steps shared below to apply online for JNU UG admission without any hassles.
1. Go to the official website i.e jnuee.jnu.ac.in
2. Click on the "Applications are invited for BA Hons 1st year through CUET-UG" link.
3. Click on the "New Registration" link.
4. Now login with their CUET-UG Application Number and Date of Birth as Password and fill out the Online Application Form.
5. Then, create a Password and choose Security Question to generate the application number after the successful submission of the personal details.
6. Now, log in with the CUET-UG Application Number and created Password for completing the application form.
7. After that, upload the required documents like scanned images of the Candidate's latest Photograph and Candidate Signature.
8. Now, pay the application fees and take the printout of the confirmation page for future reference.

JNU Admission 2022: Application Fees

Candidates can pay the JNU application fees via Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/Paytm Services. The JNU UG admission application fees is as follows:
Name of the Programme: B.A (Hons.) 1st Year and all part-time programs
General Category/EWS/OBC: Rs. 250/- plus GST as applicable
SC/ST/PwD: Rs. 100/- plus GST as applicable
Foreign Nationals: Rs. 2392/- plus GST as applicable

JNU Admission 2022: Documents Dimension Required

The scanned latest photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format.
The size of the scanned latest photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb.
The size of the scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb.
The latest photograph must be colored or black/white (but with clear contrast).
