JMI changes UG and PG entrance exam dates amid to Lok Sabha Elections

Jamia Milia Islamia (JMI) has rescheduled the entrance examination dates for multiple courses due to the Lok Sabha elections in 2024. While the dates for several entrance tests remain unchanged, the dates for various papers, including those for admission to MA (Economics), MA (Applied Psychology), Diploma in Engineering (regular/self-financed), MBA/MBA (IB) self-financed/MBA (Entrepreneurship and Family Business) (self-financed), BEd, MA (Human Resource Management), MA (Arabic), MA (Social Work), MA (English), BSc Aeronautics (Mechanical/Avionics), MCA, and MA (History), have been revised.

According to the updated schedule, the university will conduct the entrance exams on June 9, 10, and 11 for admissions to its various PG programs, including MA, MCA, B.Ed, and MBA. The initially released dates for the exams were May 24, 25, and 26, but these dates clashed with the schedule for the General Elections.

Jamia Millia Islamia University provides admissions to numerous PG programs via the CUET (Central Universities Entrance Test) PG Exam. Moreover, admissions to certain PG and UG courses are determined by the university's independent entrance examination.
An official notification from Jamia Millia Islamia regarding the rescheduling of entrance exam dates due to elections states, "In light of the Lok Sabha Election 2024 dates announced by the Chief Election Commissioner of India, the university has decided to reschedule the following entrance tests."
