JKCET 2023: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) has extended the application deadline for the Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET) 2023. The application window, which was earlier set to close on April 24, can now be accessed and submitted until April 30.

The JKCET is a state-level entrance exam conducted by JKBOPEE for admissions into various undergraduate engineering and architecture programs in the state. Eligible candidates who have passed Class 12 or those appearing in their board exams this year can apply for JKCET 2023 by following the registration process on jkbopee.gov.in.
To fill the JKCET 2023 application form, candidates must first visit the official website and complete the registration process. After registration, they must fill in their personal, educational and contact details in the application form. The next step involves the payment of the application fee, which can be done online through net banking or debit/credit cards.
Once the fee is paid, candidates must upload the necessary documents, such as their photograph, signature and Class 12 mark sheet, as per the specified format and size. After uploading the documents, candidates must preview their application and ensure that all the information provided is accurate. Finally, they must submit the application form and download a copy of the same for future reference.
The JKCET will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions and will be based on the syllabus of Class 12, with separate sections for physics, chemistry, and mathematics, each carrying 60 marks. The test will be held for three hours and will be conducted in offline mode. Candidates who clear the JKCET will be eligible for admission to various engineering and architecture programs offered by colleges in Jammu and Kashmir.
Candidates appearing in the Class 12 board exams this year will also be eligible for JKCET 2023, but they will have to produce their mark sheets during the time of the JKCET result or counseling.
