The Jammu and Kashmir Police Department, under the J&K Govt has invited online applications from eligible and interested candidates for filling 1,350 Constable vacancies to be posted in the J&K Border Battalions through direct recruitment. The application process towards the same starts from March 09, 2019 and closes on April 08, 2019 (Tentative)

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Constable post through JK Police Constable Recruitment must have attained 18 years of age as on January 01, 2019 and not have exceeded 28 years, with relaxation in the upper age limit for reserved categories as per the J&K Govt. guidelines.

Candidates must pay a specified amount of Rs. 300 as application processing fee either through online (net-banking/debit/credit payment gateways) mode or at any CSC or through Challan mode as detailed in the notification.

Educational Criteria

Desirous candidates applying for Constable post through JK Police Constable Recruitment must have passed Class 10/SSC/Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board/Institute, and meet the Physical Standards set by the J&K Police department as detailed in the notification here http://www.jkpolice.gov.in/WebImages/Adv_Ct%20Border.pdf

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Constables through JK Police Constable Recruitment will be done based on the candidates' performance in the Physical Endurance Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Written Examination (Objective Type) for 100 marks.

Candidates shortlisted as Constables will be paid an emolument in the scale of Rs. 19,900 to Rs 63,200 per month
