Jharkhand TET: Last date to apply is October 5
Department of School Education, Jharkhand has issued notification for Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). The application form for TET has been released on the official website. The last date to fill the form is October 5, 2016. The date of examination is November 20, 2016.
Eligibility:
For Primary Teachers (I - V):
Candiate applying must fulfill ANY ONE of the given criteria:
- Passed Higher Secondary or equivalent with 50% of marks and must possess two-year diploma/ degree in elementary education
- Minimum 45% marks in Higher Secondary or equivalent and two years of diploma/ degree in elementary pedagogy
- Minimum 50% marks in B.A/ B.Sc and B.Ed qualification
For Upper Primary Teachers (VI - VIII):
Candiate applying must fulfill ANY ONE of the given criteria:
- Completed B.A/ B.Sc and have two year or one year diploma/ degree in elementary education (B.Ed)
- Completed class 12 with 50% marks and have four year BLD/ B.Sc/ B.Sc Ed/ BA Ed

- Register yourself
- Login id and password will be generated
- Using Login id and password, Log on to the site
- Fill up the detailed application form
- Upload photograph and signature
- Make the online payment
- For offline payment, print the challan and fill the challan in the given bank

Selection Procedure:
Two written exams will be conducted on the same day but different slots:
- TET Level 1 (I - V)
- TET Level 2 (VI - VIII)
