Following the unfortunate leak of exam papers on social media, the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has decided to conduct re-examinations for the Class 10 Hindi and Science subjects. The Hindi exam is scheduled for March 7, while the Science paper will be taken on March 8. This decision came after the JAC had to cancel the originally scheduled exams for these two subjects on February 20 due to their compromise.

In response to this incident, Jharkhand Police have apprehended 10 suspects believed to be connected with the leak. This swift action underscores the seriousness with which the authorities are addressing the breach in examination security. The initial exams for Class 10 and Class 12 started on February 11 in Jharkhand, with enhanced security measures in place.
This year, a significant number of students, over 7.84 lakh, have registered to take the board examinations. These exams are being conducted across 2,086 centres throughout the state. The JAC's prompt response to the paper leak by scheduling retests aims to ensure the integrity of the examination process and uphold fairness for all students involved.
