Jharkhand Government Proposes New Law And Medical Colleges To Improve Services

On Monday, the Jharkhand government unveiled ambitious plans to significantly enhance the state's educational and healthcare infrastructure. This initiative includes the establishment of two new universities and an array of specialized colleges across various districts. The finance minister, Radha Krishna Kishore, shared these developments while presenting the state budget in the assembly, highlighting the government's dedication to advancing vocational education and healthcare facilities for its residents.

In terms of budget allocations, the primary and secondary education department will receive Rs 15,198.35 crore, reflecting the government's priority on foundational education. The health department's budget estimate stands at Rs 7,470.50 crore, underpinning the government's pledge to enhance healthcare facilities across Jharkhand.

To further economic development, the government plans to establish a MSME directorate or cell, aimed at nurturing micro, small, and medium enterprises within the state.
