Admission Criteria for Engineering Colleges

For admission into NITs, IIITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Secure at least 75% marks in Class 12 OR
• Be in the top 20 percentile of their respective boards
• SC/ST candidates require 65% marks

Final Ranking and Next Steps

The final JEE Main 2025 rank list will be published after Session 2, with the best NTA score out of both attempts considered for ranking. Candidates who qualify will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2025, the gateway to the prestigious IITs.
