JEE Main Result 2024 Out, Telangana's 15 Toppers Shine, Check Statewise List of 56 Candidates with Perfect 100

The National Testing Agency, NTA has released the result of JEE Main 2024 Session 2 at its official website; jeemain.nta.ac.in. The aspirants who appeared in the examination can now avail their results. For the academic session 2024-25, NTA conducted the Jee Main 2024 in two sessions, Session 1 in January 2024 and Session 2 in April 2024.

This session, a total of 56 candidates have received 100 scores in Paper 1 (BE/B.Tech). In the 2024 exams, a total of 9.24 lakh candidates were registered, out of which 8.2 lakh students appeared for the examination, which was held in January and April 2024.

Increase in Perfect Score:

Compared to 2023, there are 13 more students this time around who scored 100 percentiles. Out of the 56 candidates who received a 100 NTA score in Paper 1 (BE/BTech), two of them are female (Sanvi Jain from Karnataka and Shayna Sinha from Delhi), and the remaining candidates are male. From 43 in 2023, just one girl from Karnataka's Ridhi Kamlesh Kumar Maheshwari had reached the 100 percentile. Since then, the number has increased.

Telangana Tops the List:

Telangana emerged with the highest percentage of 100 percentilers in JEE Main this year, the same as last year. 11 students from Telangana achieved a perfect score in 2023. This year, the number was bumped up to 15. Next are Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra, with 7 and 5 percentile students respectively, compared to 2 and 5 in 2023.

Of the participants in the January session, 23 had attained the 100 percentile. With 7 students accomplishing this milestone, Telangana leads the field. Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and Rajasthan, each with three holders of the 100 percentile, are next. Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, and Karnataka each had one student who achieved perfect scores, while Delhi and Haryana each had two students at the 100 percentile threshold.
